Hi, I’m Kayla!

​

Inspiring women to look and feel their best from the inside out is what I am passionate about! I grew up in Sydney, and whilst I never took to academics throughout school, sport was my thing! From a young age, I have always been someone with a competitive nature. I would say that this quality stemmed from a young age when my parents enrolled me into gymnastics. Throughout my career, I competed in numerous state and national competitions.

After school, I tried so many different career paths; makeup artist, real estate agent, microblading, car service receptionist and HR advisor. I found myself just going through the motions and living for the weekend. Throughout the pandemic, I lost my job and questioned my purpose. I used Instagram as a tool to share home workouts and my knowledge of health. I wanted to make working out feel accessible; I wanted to show women that any movement is good; you don’t need to punish your body – working out can, and should, feel good and be fun! 

In 2020, I prepped for my first WBFF Bikini Body Building competition, which was cancelled due to covid. In 2021, I finally stepped on stage and placed 2nd at my first-ever show. After my first show, I learned so much about myself and what I could achieve. I loved every second of being on stage - It set my soul on fire!

In 2022 I became a PRO Athlete and won my category at my 2nd WBFF Bikini BodyBuilding Show! Each prep had its adversities that I needed to overcome. I believe these lessons have shaped me into a more relatable and compassionate coach.


When I look back on my journey so far, I am so grateful for the way that everything has aligned, and I am so happy that I lost my job that day! I never expected my community to grow into what it is today and to be able to work alongside so many amazing women! Along the way, I’ve realised that my love for movement and health doesn’t just lie within myself. It lies within empowering and motivating women to see their potential, feel good about themselves, and enjoy their fitness journey no matter their goals!

MY APPROACH TO HEALTH & FITNESS

Create healthy habits, not restrictions

 

The programs I have created are designed to build your ultimate shape and have you feeling strong, fit and confident! Programs are built in 4 week blocks, this gives you a chance to focus on nailing technique or increase weight before moving onto the next phase of the plan. This type of programming is what I enjoy and find to be the most effective.

 

In terms of nutrition I live by the 80:20 rule! I believe that in life, balance is key!

 

Everything in moderation, a diet doesn't have to be boring and overly restrictive. The 80:20 rule is based around balance, 80% whole foods and the remainder 20% soul foods, minus the guilt. I personally find this the most maintainable type of diet.
